What does it mean?

I love Russia (well, there are aspects of it that are troubling, needless to say) and i love the Russian language (i took a year of it in high school and it's the only class i've ever flunked ... it was so difficult!) but don't people put names and words on their plates to express something to other drivers who see it?
If so, no one will know what it means and on first glance people might see / hear a word something close to "brat".

But, why would a Russian have plates that say "Buryat"? Are you sure you're not Mongol?

You could also choose " 1Buryat" or "Buryat1 "
