Congratulations California, and I see it passed for Massachusetts, Maine, and Nevada as well. We got Medical legalized here in Florida last night, being the first State in the South to legalize it, as well as getting a major state like California on the recreational side will make a lot of progress. It should be a domino effect from here on out.

Yep, and I smelled some skunky burnout pothead stinking up the polling place already. Trump wins and pot is legalized. Glad I've got another country, run by sane people, to go to, if necessary.

I support it although I will not partake. For me it is about freedom and the ability to choose for yourself how you will live. No reason for rules on how to live. Adults should be able to decide for themselves what they want to do to their own body.

I didn't think there were any people left on CD who had a sense of humor. Thanks for proving me wrong.

So what is the reality of the proposition being passed? Does that mean you can sit on your front lawn and blaze up and no one can bother you? I would expect so.

I would also imagine that it probably has similar contentions as alcohol. No open container type deal. IDK.

I don't smoke weed and don't really have any interest in it.

Now if CA just had a DUI law like Germany.

How To Germany - DUI - Not a Good Thing

Nope, they just let them do it again and again.

The laws had ruined so many more lives than MJ ever could. It's terrible when good people are denied work because they have a record in the past. This isn't something that should be tested or have a background check run for most jobs, certainly not working in an office. Fortunately back in the day when I partaked, I never got arrested.

Now that it's legal, send some into the riot areas in the state. It's sure to calm them down a little but they will probably need snacks.
