looking at Triology at the Vineyards, for downsizing and retirement. Currently live in Western part of county. wouldnt move for year or so. Concerned about price point and long term viability when Shea ( developer) moves on. How friendly is the community? How well are the properties built? cost of upgrades and resale valuues Any insights or experiences appreciated ?

I know someone whose daughter bought there due to affordability. She works for the airlines so does not have to deal with daily commute...hard to believe people do it, but I guess many do,& my friend said that because of that, the neighborhoods are pretty empty on weekdays. Her daughter is looking to move back closer in due to the heat (105F recently) & what she said is a poor infrastructure...don't know what she means, although she does have a kindergartner. I suggested the area to my adult kid who, along with their spouse, are being priced out, but in addition to commute, they said there is not much to do, unless your lifestyle is parent of young kids. That's all I have.

Are you referring to the Bay area city of Brentwood?

I was seeing if anyone has looked at or moved into the 55 plus community " Triology at the Vineyards"

Yes, that's the city, but didn't realize that Trilogy is 55+
