Well, that's not unusual, these days. Parts of WA State have the same problem, and they don't have any restrictive laws or regs. It's a sign of the times: aging population, but also--retirees flooding into popular areas, in the case of Western WA.

California has 93.5 active primary care physicians per 100,000 people and the US average is 90. Massachusetts is the highest at 134.4 and lowest states are Mississippi, Nevada and Arkansas.

Sure. My point was mainly to refute the post by expatCA that California is some hell hole that is desperately lacking physicians while everyone else is living high on the hog. It actually is above average.

You need to grow up. I never said it was a Hell Hole, I just posted what I found on the internet. Reading comprehension helps you avoid looking bad by ascribing things in error to others.
