It is hard to believe not all that many years ago Ca was Red or certainly purple. We lived there at the time: thank goodness, as much as we do miss some things we got out while the getting was good. Most of our family have left as well.

They can keep pushing until people start leaving in droves.
With the scenery, weather, and sheer amount of stuff to do that's not going to happen any time soon. It's unfortunate but supply and demand.
