I don't know anybody that is voting "Yes" on Prop 1A, is it just those associated with public workers and the government that support it?

I know of several folks who work for various municipals, and they're voting no.

Alas, I know of folks who are voting yes because of the 30 second commercials too.

Yep, just them, plus people who believe television political advertising, and those who think a 3 sentence explanation on their official voter ballot is enough.

Yeah, I thought the commercial with the dad and his son was pretty funny. Amazing how deceptive it all is....

Yes I am voting for all 6 propositions because I want our state to get back on its feet, so to speak. Too bad many others are voting against these attempts to help California or are not voting at all. In-fact, the polling people predict it will be a terrible turn-out next week. So many Californians don't even bother to vote. What kind of civic duty is that?

The props will do little for the state if they pass. Also, are you a state worker?

I like it when people dont vote; it gives my vote that much more power.
Besides, people who dont vote usually dont have enough brains to know what they're voting for anyway.

...or not voting for as the case may be.

I generally vote "No!" on propositions because I don't care fror ballot box governance when it serves primarily to permit the Legislature an end-run around having to take care of the people's business responsibly.

It seems to me that it's more often the case that they can't get something passed in the legislature so they try to sucker the voters into approving their legislation by using tricky wording and putting hidden barbs in the measures. I believe that all the 1A-1F fall into this category.

People who really understand the situation of the state and can read more than three sentences of the voter summary AND who want the schools to open on time this Fall, will vote yes, or already have.
