Hey, I know it may sound ridiculous.

I'm 24, I live in L.A. County, have been trying to figure out the ideal place to buy property. Reason I started looking is cause I guess.. California is on that Falt line.

I want to get Married & have kids- start a family. I want to do something bout it now so my family & I will be safe, generations & generations down the line.

Can anyone make any suggestions. The work thing- not worried about it. I can work from anywhere through the internet, I'm covered.

What I'm looking for- Places that don't have Earthquakes, Floods, Tornadoes, Hurricanes.

And I just really want to live in a Nice neighborhood- surrounded by nice neighborhoods with some Nice/good neighbors.

I've lived here my whole life. When thinking of other places.. some people say "Yeah but over there.. theres' nothing to do." I don't even think I'm taking advantage of "The Fun there is here." Pretty much, I work.. & for fun, I play hockey, Guitar & hang out with Friends & Family. I can pretty much do those things wherever. I don't go to the beach at all.. I mean.. I'm not out touring California every weekend & I don't know anyone else that does either. All my friends sort of just hang out with each other for fun.

Anyway- I remember when I was little, back in like 1992'ish I remember watching the news. They showed people selling their houses cause of I think some Earth Quakes or something. And they said they were moving somewhere- I wonder where they went?

Where ever I go, I just want to be able to enjoy living there- I really want to be around nice neighborhoods & nice people (Family Friendly.)

Where I'm at now really isn't like that. You have to be in a million dollar neighborhood to be around nice neighbors, nice people etc.. Here.. I mean $500,000 home, still in the ghetto.

I'm Sincerely reaching out to you people on the internet, please! Please!
Take a moment to write me back, let me know what you think.

Thank you very much!

That map doesn't include several coldstorms. I mean, no way in hell I'd deal with the god awful cold in Maine just to avoid an earthquake.

I turned the earthquakes off for the next 22 years. By then you should be able to get married and have kids.

The way that title is worded, are you the CAUSE of the earthquakes, meaning that if you left they'd stop?

Hmmm, earthquakes: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Missouri and other parts of the midwest, The Carolinas and the Northeast.

Floods: virtually anywhere rain falls is a potential flood risk.

Tornadoes: have occurred in all of the lower 48 states. Perhaps in all 50.

Hurricanes: anywhere from the Texas/Mexican border to the Maine/Canadian border.

Welcome to the United States of America
