Eureka! The only way to go. I've had my Eureka for almost a decade and it's still going strong. All I've had to do is add a little seam sealer but you should do this with any brand really. Also, my Eureka is super simple to put up. I've set it up in the dark in under 3 mins.

I'll second that Eureka suggestion,
Also had my Eureka copper canyon model for 10 years. love the straight sides and the airy feeling it gives with all windows and top down, without the top cover you can fall asleep while under a clear view of the stars. here it is=

I highly recommend the REI Kingdom 6. It's more expensive than the $300 tent the OP referenced but it will also vastly outperform it if the weather turns bad. We sleep four in ours very comfortably with a double air mattress in one "room" and the kids on sleeping pads in the other "room". The built-in vestibule is decent, if a bit small, but add on the optional garage and you'll have a backcountry mansion.

+1

I took a Kingdom 8 with 3 tweens, my wife and I camping in a downpour in the White Mountains this summer. It worked great, and was very easy to put up and down.
