Campgrounds and noise

I don't mind...It's just the big groups of drunk men that send a small group of the female tent campers over to the motel...Have to handle self defense for 15 minutes+ before cops arrive, even 45 minutes if rural area. If I see the parties while setting up camp, I sometimes break camp or abandon all til daylight and check into a motel. I gave up the RV for now...Cannot afford to keep RV running nor store it in safe place. Back to the $100 investment in 1 dome tent and 2 sleeping bags.

We have been renting an RV - the same one so we know what to expect. The RV gives us more control over our environment - including noise. The only thing we really don't like when camping is amplified music.
