Many years ago we camped at Lake Bomazine (sp) State Park in Vermont. It was quite nice, they had rowboat rentals in a good size lake.

I have no knowledge of Burlingame SP. What state is it in?

Been a few years, but if your up around Lubec, ME,
Sunset Point Campground, sites are on the ocean,
Clean and affordable.

I just camped in the Adirondacks.

Absolutely beautiful. Bad time of the year---black flies are out for the kill. I got so many bites.

As an x-RI'er, I say ahhhh… no. I would absolutely go to the coast of Maine though depending on weather. Somewhere up near Camden maybe? Mid-fall, come on down here to the Blue Ridge Mtns. or the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Breathe in the fresh mountain air. Have fun !
