So, now that my inlaw bought a small boat, my wife want to pay them back, keep with the Joneses, and buy a RV.

I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THOSE. I think, they are headache on maintenance and used little, but The Boss wants one.

So, is this thing here worth the $$?

Depends on the asking price. It looks like a decent unit and that powertrain is very solid.

That's not the question. Question is is it even worth spending time checking itout. Cmon folks, is it priced reasonable.

You're making this more difficult then it needs to be. If you're wondering about value do some research asking on a forum you can get all sorts of answers, or take something that is somewhat factual.

look at this: RV Prices, RV Reviews, RV Values, Camper & Trailer Specs, Motorhome Value | NADAguides | NADA RV, Recreational Vehicle Price & Appraisal Guides | NADAguides Or this: Kelly Blue Book RV Values - PPL Motor Homes

Best boating advice I was ever given:
Be happy and enthusiastic about buying gas and beer and bait and filling the cooler with food for lunch
and when you come back to the dock jump right on to the work. Scrub and hose like you own the boat.

As you're leaving the marina be sure to turn back to your friends to smile and wave...
and think about how you are able to enjoy an occasional day on the water so cheaply compared to them.

Early the next week volunteer to take your hosts out to dinner or for drinks.
Then follow up on that. And when you do go out... be a good host.

No. Even if you like the idea of camping... NONE of them are worth the money.

Great advice. It's foolish to buy anything you don't really want just because you're trying to compete with someone else.

I would say that the RV could only be a good deal if the OP was actually interested in it or in RV'ing. Just buying it to buy it means you may never use it and later sell it for less.

I purchased this rv in 2000. Rear bed, power seats and locks, everything works great. It's been a terrific rv but I've decided to buy a larger rv. No generator. Inside is very clean, no odors. Outside shower. V10 motor which has been flawless, transmission is perfect. New tires about 5K miles ago. No leaks. 110K miles, only maintenance has been the basics. Skylights in the bathroom and center.
no trades

The add is full of bs, a 15yr old camper is going to have water leaks.
no odors, hahahaha good one.

110k and only basic maintenance and the tranny is perfect.
It could be but....

If your going to get a camper get a new one or one that is only a couple of years old, or get a boat.

A boat is a hole in the lake in which you pour money into.
