Wind signal is not bad in the GTA. I used to use it and seldom run into problems (calls never dropped once). Not sure about the rest of Canada where it is available (Calgary, Ottawa etc.)
But that really doesn't matter. I don't know why people are bogged down by specific cellphone plans. It will be very stupid to deny the fact that consumer products are almost always more expensive in Canada than in the US.
Adding to that is far fewer options. In terms of online shopping, Canada hasn't enter this era yet. There have been a few times when I look for a specific product, I just couldn't find any Canadian retailer carrying it, while it is all over the place on US-based retailers. (it is big in size so I can't have it shipped to Canada).
Adding to that is higher taxes.
Adding to that is high shipping costs if you buy online. Free shipping rarely exists.
Adding to that is the absence of tax free products (such as clothing under $110).
I bought this ceiling light from a Canada based company last year, and was told that the price was $86 instead of $65 shown on the website, which refers to prices to American consumers.
This is what Canadian companies do to Canadians.
Air Canada has way more deals in the US than in Canada, because unlike in Canada, they actually need to compete for business in the US.
I don't know what people are arguing about.
