Another Canadian artist i like is Loreena McKennit.
Her music doesnt remind me of any specific place in Canada but more Canadas connection with its Celtic affiliations of the past.

Wilf Carter. can't think of a specific song but he was a standby in my house when I was growing up. I don't think Heintje would ring any Canadian bells for anyone else here.
