That's not an affectation. He has acute dry eye syndrome. Any time you see anybody blinking like that, that's what the problem is. It's quite painful.

Yeah I actually had that for a time. I made it worse by using visine which is a big no no. I got over it by increasing Omega 3 fatty acid intake and weaning myself off visine in favour of systane. I was looking at the whole scene in combination - it just came across as awkward and kind of amusing.

Me too. Only I didn't get it from visine, I got it from the sterilizing drops the eye specialists have to put in to sterilize the eyes before giving me injections in the eyes every two months.
I thought that young man was really cute and sweet natured. If I was there and 40 years younger I'd have been sitting across from him over a glass of that yummy black currant wine and rapidly blinking my eyes right back at him.

Ah ok so you got the drops for a different reason. My mom has Glaucoma and cataracts so I know how much eye problems can really impact people.
The guy was pretty hot. Just the way he took that Sangria from her and looking in the camera - it was funny. She was very sweet as well.
Please, Mouldy. You are even starting to wear *me* down.

To answer your question, no, Quebec wine isn't anything special.

Anyways, I grew up in the vicinity of a vinyard in the Sherbrooke area and I used to stop by and pick grapes when I was riding my bike as a teenager. I saw this vineyard come to life as the owner started planting the vines 20 years ago or so. To be honest, the wine was bad even when I first tried it around 15 years ago, and I was far from a connoisseur back then (I could drink any cheap wine and 99% of the time I thought it was good). I would be curious to try it again to see if quality has improved. I might go to the SAQ and buy a bottle to try it again.

Oh, I like Mouldy too. I probably indulge him more than anyone on here. (And we also exchange private messages sometimes.)
