Not only do I find most of the positions of the proudly homophobic alt-right utterly disgusting to begin with, but even the so called strongmen they admire (like Putin) have hardly succeeded in actually building prosperous societies. For all the talk about supporting “traditional family values”, Russia has a population well below replacement level, and lacks the high level of immigration that characterises western countries.
