I'm an aerospace engineer working for a major aerospace corporation and I'm personally looking for some "breathing room" when it comes to personal aspirations and thoughts on design solutions. Thus I was mulling starting up my own aerospace company or becoming a consultant. I would focus in control theory and dynamics.
I was curious if there is much demand in Canada for aerospace technology? How about civilian contractors with the Canadian forces? Finally, to be complicated, I enjoyed my time in the Edmonton area and was wondering if that area specifically had any jobs or firms looking for engineers.
As for why Canada and not remain in the US ... those are personal. If I can make the move, I will.
