She's been undergoing treatment for BC for a year, and she's at the master's with a full head of long blond hair with no evidence of a wig at her part or forehead. What is up with that?? No chemo? Special no hair loss chemo?

According to reports, she's like me. She got lucky and it was detected before it got to the lymph nodes, so no chemo. I wish it could be that easy for everyone, though it is still not entirely easy.

Mine didn't get to the lymph nodes either, and I had chemo....

Some chemo does not cause hair loss. What my mom has taken this last time does not cause hair loss.

Or could be that she has so many financial resources that her wig just looks great!

Either way, more power to her and wishing her the best of health!

Yeah, I had one chemo that didn't cause hair loss. But the typical bc ones do.... This from a disgruntled short haired person who can't believe how long it is taking for her hair to grow back! For some reason I imagined that 18 months later I'd have hair down to my shoulders---NOT!
