The nerve of a parent, buy their kid a brand new German car and not pay insurance...

This thread is an excellent example of how poorly many people communicate. Several of the posts make absolutely no sense at all.

OP's mom needs to call several insurance companies to see if any of them have creative solutions for insuring a new driver.
