If not that, there are almost certainly provisions requiring proof of loss and/or cooperation with a claim investigation.
So, yes, if the company wants the police report give it to them.
By the way, Victoria, if you expect your disability carrier to accept that you are disabled due to "depression" you better be under treatment for depression by a mental health professional so that the condition can be well documented.
Disability carriers don't pay claims just because you SAY that you can't work.
