Good morning!

Thanks for what you said, Cyn. And I do hope we'll have the possibility to meet in person some day.

Good morning, cyn and friends. I was thinking the other night that I am doing triple duty. My poor german shepherd has her back hips paralyzed, and our 17 year old Miss Maggie Lou, the poodle/mutt is senile and completely blind, and now Felix.

So that post by nms really hit me. I have to keep my act together so I can care for my loved ones. Furbrats and all.

Cyn, we miss all the activities too. Sometimes I take my iPad into Felix's room and play some really old timey music or really old time tv programs. It sparks memories from his distant past. He remembers that song, "The ol' gray mare ain't what she used to be..."

I found a site that has the #1 hit of, for example, 1939, then I play that song. Wow. Watch their brains eat that up. It really makes me happy to watch him remember those things.

I have had a headache for 2 days now and am down right tired of it. Nothing is helping--Bayer usually does the job but not this time--I am considering taking a Vicodin. I always have them around because we never take them when the Dr's give them to us.....well I just may have to take one this time. I think I have been in such a worry state the last few days it has finally caught up to me--all my own fault for letting it build up like this but it is what I do best! Also the weather is so crazy--hot, cold, cloudy, rain all in an hour! My head just can't take it I guess. I already have dinner almost ready to go....just because I don't know what I will feel like later and we need to have something for my DH to eat so at least that will be one less thing to worry about. Goulash is always a good and easy dinner and can sit and just gets better with time!

I love goulash!

Cyn, have you cut back on caffeine lately? I get nasty headaches whenever I do that. In fact, I drank decaf the 1st day at my mother's and didn't know it till the next a.m. I had such a bad headache that whole day that I went to bed at 8!
