Good morning my dear friends! Yes, yesterday ended up pretty good--actually much better then I would have guessed from how it started! We took a lovely drive to a town about an hour away in a direction we rarely go anymore and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It started raining just before we got home and actually we were just a little in front of it so I was able to get the outside critters all fed before the rain hit! When we got home our neighbor was out mowing the front yard--such dear people! Even while it rained he just smiled and still finished it up. Then I made our dinner of Orange Roughy with salsa, mashed potatoes, fresh tomatoes from our neighbors garden, and some sliced soft cooked carrots with a bit of sugar on them. DH ate every bite! All in all the day turned out pretty good! And DH said thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes! And all of the kids, except his daughter, and grand kids did call and wish him a happy birthday. His daughter and her kids, Dh"S only real grandchildren didn't call but lately that hasn't been much of a surprise...it's become the norm! Oh well he got plenty of calls and he enjoyed them all! Thank you each and every one for all of the support--it sure helped!

It is so hot here--and humid--I think I'm going to shrink! Maybe a nice quick rain storm would cool it down--fingers crossed!

Cyn, I don't post much on your thread, but do read it and keep you and your husband in my prayers. He shares a birthday with one of my brothers! So happy belated birthday to him and remember there's bunches of us here that don't post much, but keep you in our prayers.
