...for the first time... and I'm anxious and sad and nervous and anxious. Oh, wait, I already said that. lol I know they will be fine, but will I? I'll only be away from them for 3 days but I want to every time I think about it.

Dramatic much?

No. I've had to board my kitties and it is down-right traumatic. Probably more on me then on them. The up-side is, if you've picked a place you have confidence in, you know they are safe and being well cared for. (The world-famous Murphy had to have a pill every day so we had no choice for him. But I always shed a little tear when I left him.)

They'll be fine!

You'll be fine. I have to board Jensen when I head out for a weekend. And if I'm gone longer I board the other two. When cats are somewhere safe believe it or not your mind is more at ease. At least they are somewhere you also feel confidant in.

But leaving them is NEVER easy!

We worry about -- and incessantly talk about -- our cats when we're away, even if it's just for overnight! We're hopeless.

Funny you mention that - the SO and I went out to dinner last night and we were both surprised that I didn't start talking about the cats until an hour or so into it.

I know they'll be fine and I feel way better about boarding them rather than leaving them at home. Who knows what my booger butts would get into being home alone for three days!

Thanks everybody. Good to know I'm not the only one!

Yeah, I'm a mess. I'm sitting in the car crying and had the SO take them in. LOL.

I actually feel sorry for the boarding staff, who have to patiently deal with me calling twice a day to make sure everything is alright. But I love when I see my furbutts again!

That's funny starla! I'm trying to refrain from annoying the staff. We'll see how that goes joe (SO) got the biggest "condo" so they'll have plenty of room. Guinness also walked up to the guy and head butted him. That's my boy . Mads was exploring when joe left. . They did really well and I feel good about it. Relief!
