The person who picked up SkinnyMinny called. Her blood work was fine, no FeLV or LIV. She weighs 8 lbs. That surprised me since she was so skinny when found. Nutrition and hydration does wonders. The vet removed the ticks and treated the cat with Revolution to get other possible parasites. She got all her necessary vaccines. She didn't give the woman any trouble at all. I can sleep well tonight.

Yes, you can sleep well tonight, and so can she. Purely a miracle the was able to survive as long as she did, and that you turned up when you did. I am sure she will be feeling much better soon, full belly, no more ticks and god knows what else, safe, clean, and loved. You need a vacation - to rest up from your vacation!!!

I've never met a cat person I didn't like.....

She probably thinks that's she's in heaven now.

I'm so glad. I hope she finds a loving family very soon. It must be terrible for cats to be lost at these camp grounds, then left. I don't know how anyone can move on, knowing their cat is out there lost. I understand they have to. I just don't know how they can bear it. Thank God for you, and people like you.

God Bless you for your sweetness and kindness to this poor kitty.
(And all the time and money spent too.) There really are Angels amongst us.

I think you should keep the cat. Let it get adjusted and used to your other cats and become one of them.
