Hahah! I Love that video, though it does remind me why I don't have birds in my flat...
What a great example of feline tolerance and patience.

great how after the second swat, and the bird comes back, the cat just kind of looks away for a bit like, "you've *got* to be kidding me"

I heard a biologist say that parrots are the most intelligent avian. Who'd have thought it? I thought it would be an eagle or osprey or hawk. Nevertheless, I still don't particularly like them

parrots are really really smart for animals. they've been observed using tools and can be taught to count to low numbers

magpies are the only bird who've passed the mirror test though. so they might be smarter

i lived with a senegalese parrot for a while. as much as i love my cats, he was definitely smarter than them

Yeah, I really do love cats but the fact is their brain is about the size of a walnut and when one does the size ratio to full body mass it doesn't look good.

Still and all, we do love our felines, don't we? And I'd just swear my Carly (RIP, Carly..) was among the smartest.

Why doesn't this cat just kill this annoying parrot?
What a horrible question! Would you kill your little brother or sister just because s/he incessantly pestered you for five minutes straight? These two obviously are best buds.

Many experts are of the opinion that crows and ravens go to the head of the class when bird intelligence is evaluated.
