We lost our Jack too. We found him a few hours later sleeping in a pot in the cupboard.

Lost another one while putting LP in the RV. I was hysterical, thinking she got out on a busy street. Found her all curled up in the shadows of the closet.

I'm so glad. I was worried. My Mattie used to go somewhere in my old house I couldn't find her all day, then she would just appear. Never found her hiding place.

I had one like that too. I think she would hide inside a love seat. At first we could detect her(she messed up one time and got out when we were around) because I would check underneath the love seat and would see a bump that matched her fat body. However later on I couldn't even see the bump. I have no idea if she was there or somewhere else . She would stay quiet all the time she was there, I guess she just wanted some "privacy". Not even the sound of "food" or the sound of a vacuum would make her come out. Not even moving the furniture back when we could still see the bump. My only fear was thinking she could get stuck.

She didn't hide in the following two homes though but we changed furniture too.
