The other side of the coin is you might have to keep a closer eye on them if they start working together. I'm convinced that my cats have been conspiring against me for years.
Can't rep you (need to spread some more around first), but wanted to let you know I'm laughing out loud!
Our two cats (both adult/senior female cats, whom were both formerly only pets) still do not get along, after living together for more than two years. We did slow introductions, etc but it seems like they will probably never like each other. They still hiss at each other on a weekly basis. They seem to have established territories as one of them mostly stays upstairs and the other stays primarily downstairs.
Luckily, they were much more accepting of our new (senior) dog than they were/are of eachother.
Feliway plug ins seem to help but they can be pretty pricey, depending on the size of your home. You can buy them in bulk from Amazon. You could just use them in locations where there tends to be conflict.
Good luck!
That's when the thread started. Using all eight fingers and two thumbs, that makes 10 years.
Maybe CD needs to send an emergency assessment team over.
