They barf up foamy yellow or white stuff early in the morning. Sometimes the cats -well mainly Oscar does this but Lucy the Bichon dog does it too much too. Stupid me finally had to do some research to figure it out. it's too long between the evening meal and the morning meal.
easily remedied.

Here is a wonderful and current article addressing digestive issues in cats. It's worth the time to read it all but I found Part 2 especially informative.

Thanks to catsmom21 for bringing this to my attention.

Thank you for posting this. The information on the dangers about giving CKD and older cats antacids was eye opening

PLUS I have Never read that most nausea in CKD cats is due to uremic toxins, NOT excess gastric acid.

"I know – those of you who have cats with kidney disease are saying, “But there is no cure.” In Part 2, we share research that indicates most cats with kidney disease (unlike dogs and humans with CKD or CRF) suffer a nausea that is related to uremic toxins, not excess gastric acid, and is best treated centrally, not with antacids.

And as always, thanks to catsmom21
