That 7th week must be the trick then. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks for an unexpected medical issue. I came home and my cat just gave me the death stare.

LOL that still means you were missed! Back when I lived alone and had to travel too much (I had a pet sitter) I always knew if I had been gone too long because the cats rebelled by yacking on the bed
