And thanks to everyone for the comments... I do miss them already, but also feel good about their new home. I'm sure they will be very happy, and my friend promised to update me (plus I'll get to visit occasionally). It's not easy to get attached and then give them away, but you have to go into this with the attitude of "this is only temporary." I call it renting a kitten, lol. I also remind myself that for every kitten I re-home, that's another kitten/litter I can help next. People who end up keeping their fosters usually don't foster again!
Believe me, if I had the space and money, I would keep as many of them as possible... that is not the case, however, as I live in a ~750sf duplex with a dog + 3 cats (+ 11 snakes), and limited funds already. Hopefully one day I'll have a larger home with land, and THEN I will probably end up with a whole zoo. Hehe.
