Tics.....it were I who mentioned it. And because Kitty is 'friends' with the deer....this has to be an
active, ongoing concern. But it sounds like you're on-board about it. Hope your friend is also....ticks
could be hoppin' from the deer to the kitty to him! As you know.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you about the heating pad. It's called the Cozy Cushion...says it works like an electric blanket, without the electricity. I found it in a catalog called Doctors Foster and Smith Just For Cats. There is also a web site. Hope this helps.

I visited my friend today and his little cat slept in her little house last night.
We could tell 'cause the blankets were flattened and there was cat hair on them.
I was afraid she wouldn't take to it but she did right away.
It's right next to his door.
Next step ... Cozy Cushion.
And yes, we are "on top of" the tic situation.
