Turtle scared me. We put the Advantage on their backs and somehow she reached around and licked it. She drooled quite a bit, but it's been 15 minutes and she has no other symptoms (no vomiting, no seizures, etc.). She appears to be okay. I've read that it's usually not very toxic, just irritating to the cat. She's grooming herself right now. Hopefully she learned her lesson and will leave it alone.
The other two are just moping. They hate having anything done to them.
I posted before about my cat's grimy mouse that he loves so much. For the second time in about a month, I've found it floating in the dogs' water bowl (The dogs never touch the kitty toys.) I wonder if he's freshening it up.

One of my cats does that all the time with her toys. Occasionally the dogs go over to the dish, carefully extract the toy, and resume drinking. She also likes to steal my elastic hair ties and drown them in the toilet

He is now working on digging thru the glass door. He gets out of the screen door, and is now thwarted by the glass door. I can literally see the "cat logic", "Okay, I am out the screen door, so, I should be home free....where do I break down this @&$) glass door?".
Jasper's big adventure... He did manage to sneak out, and he disappeared, so, I went looking for him, all over the neighborhood, a lady next door came out of her house, asking me if I was looking for a cat... She had seen him outside and took him in.
We are going to have to fix the screen door, put clothes on Jasper, do something....
Okay, screen door fixed, with pet screen, cost, $60.
New harness for "Houdini" AKA Jasper, Cost, $20
He is pretty thwarted by the new screen, I think that it is used on zoo animal enclosures. He is not liking his harness much, and still, he managed to run out this morning, when we left for church.
Caught him...I keep tellilng him, "You are an indoor cat". He is not liking that much.

When I had to bring Carly indoors permanently, she absolutely mourned her loss of freedom for at least a year. I felt so badly, as she'd been a fierce huntress. Eventually she adjusted very well, and If you can do lots of treats and extra attention, it should help. Though doing that may create other types of issues!
