Here's my new one (male I hope), with the neck wound. I took the picture through the window because as soon as I get out there I know he'll run off.
The feral is sitting about 3 feet away.
On a side note, I went to get the food and there's apparently a wasp buzzing around back there. I'm looking for the spray. I'm afraid if I don't get it, a cat might. I don't want them to get stung. What a time for mom not to answer the phone. She's probably the only one who knows where the spray is. We have some insect spray in the kitchen, but it only squirts about three feet. I want to go feed the cats outside, but there are red wasps all over the front porch. This world would be a much better place if there were no wasps.
Well I ran out there and fed them. Neck wound ran off, then the new momma cat showed up. She and the feral are eating right now.

^^ I have an idea that since you've not seen them yet , you won't until Momma is ready to wean them. As you're feeding Momma (and bless you for doing so....) she may well bring them to you when she wants to be 'done' with them.

Hairspray. It will dry and make their wings too sticky to fly and then you can smash them.

I rescued a cat that had a neck wound that had gotten infected and had to be cleaned out regularly and treated with antibiotics. I'd see about possibly figuring out a way to trap him somehow if you can. Good luck!
New momma picked a fight with old momma over the food today. But I just looked out there and both are eating peacefully. I have two bowls out there, so that works out fairly well. I've only had 2 or 3 slap fights since the new momma showed up.
ok hubby brought home two kittens for his work. I believe they are to small to see the vet for any shots. Is there anything I can give them from the pet store to keep them healthy at least for the next two weeks. Or should I just take them to the vet? I have been bottle feeding them for two days now. They are really tiny. Maybe 3-4 weeks old.
The cat with the neck wound came by again today. I would assume he is male. I tried to put down an extra bowl of food for him, but he didn't seem to want it. He then chased the feral under the house and sat there howling. At one point he looked at me and rolled over.
He's a large cat, probably the size of my 10 pounder. He sounded like my sister's ragamuffin.
I'm trying to upload pictures, but the photo sites I use are not working well right now.
He chased and caught the new momma, but then there was a big fight. I think he wants to mate and she wants no part of it.
On a side note, when should I get her fixed? Obviously the kittens are not old enough yet, but they are 4 weeks old. Whether I find them or not, she will have to be fixed eventually. When should I do that?
