I don't know why Charles doesn't just pass on the crown. He never seemed to be too happy to be in his position, so why bother? Maybe his mother wants it to be that way?

Ok, I was just projecting then. I wouldn't want it either. All these women out there wishing to be in Kate's shoes. I couldn't live a life where everything was just planned out for me and I must toe the line and do what is expected.
Prince William is so much better than his Father...he works as a search and rescue pilot, actually has a job...and is marrying a nice girl, who he has been with for ten years....never was too impressed with Charles...and he treated Diana like a brood mare.

bah Prince Harry went and joined up with the British Army and served in Afghanistan.
now that is a the second in line future king of england I respect since he is willing to serve his country and be just like everyone else. i dispise prince charles though, he is just so arrogant and out of tough with everything. Diana on the other hand showed the other side of life to the boys not just the royal tradtional stuff.
