Robert Carlyle never forgets his roots in Glasgow and always accomodates his fans, allowing them to have photos taken with him...he s now filming his new movie, in the eastend of Glasgow in Bridgeton where I live and will do such a lot for the area....
Kevin Nealon - Saw him at a bagel shop while he was in town for a comedy event and he told me he had been at this particular place three times already and told me what to get. LOL! Super cool and funny!
Rude:
A D-list celebrity, but at the college I went to they had an event with "comedian" Mark Curry.... formerly TV's Mr. Cooper from Hangin with Mr. Cooper. I was part of our events board and was tasked with helping to get him from the airport to his hotel.... of which he invited me in and pulled a "don't you know who I am?!?!" when I said no. What a d-bag.
As an oldster, John Sebastian was the nicest and Jimi Hendrix the most obnoxious.
Would you give us some more info about your encounter with Hendrix, please? My understanding is that he was a really nice guy, except for when he'd had too much alcohol.

I was surprised to read that about Jimi, too. Maybe he was going through drug withdrawal symptoms.

Yes, I'm older than dirt, and altho he was known to be quite the introvert, I don't recall ever hearing he was anything near "obnoxious".
I met a few when they were filming "Lincoln" here. James Spader was nice, but it seemed kind of forced. His wife was nothing but outgoing and positive.
David Strathairn was pretty friendly and happy to sign autographs.
But the nicest celebrity (and person) ever is John Hawkes. He walked a few miles from his hotel and ate lunch several times at a restaurant I managed and was always down for a conversation or lighthearted joke. Such a cool dude.

She isn't lying about the story. I'm her daughter and she told me this story years ago.
