John Cusack. He is one of my favorite actors, very under-rated.

Antonio Banderas was a strong "B" actor for a while (Philadelphia, Zorro).

Richard Dean Anderson spent about 14 years of his acting career in the various StarGate Series; (SG1, Atlantis, Universe).
IIRC he retired because he wants to spend more time with his daughter.

He's a really decent guy IRL. Ya'll should look up his bio, sometime.

Regarding Jan-Michael Vincent, he ended up being pretty much a train wreck due to drugs and alcohol (which also torpedoed his career). I heard he's living a semi-reclusive life in Mississippi these days.

Too bad. I remember watching the old "Airwolf" TV series and thought he was pretty decent in that.

Jan Michael Vincent was a very good actor. He was one of the few "pretty boys" (before his auto accident and drug mess) who I think had staying power. Had things gone differently, he would have been a handsome older actor guest-starring in good TV dramas, maybe some comedies, too. He might have starred in a few more movies.

Some may recall Paul Sorvino (Mira Sorvino's dad). Had a pretty good career in movies and TV.

Default Janet Hubert

Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Vivian from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Incredibly beautiful, powerful, commanding presence. There was nothing fluff about her. Jennifer Aniston is a paper doll compared to this magnificent woman. Tragic there was no place for her among the "greats" on the "A" list.

He effectively played this type of role in 'Homicide', and he made that series a memorable one. His excellence and effectiveness in touching the emotions of those who watched his performances is reflective here in your comments about him. Hard to be indifferent when your emotions are tapped into by a great actor.

With his intensity and ability, he makes Clooney look like a comic book character. Braugher is on par with Willem Dafoe for his intensity. Two of my favorite actors are Braugher and Dafoe.

I think my dislike of the way he played his role on "Homicide..." comes from having read the book that the series is based on, and not getting that sense of bluster and bombast from the actual detective (Harry Edgerton) that the Frank Pembleton character is based on.
