I went to Acalanes high school in Lafayette California.
There were quite a few famous people that went there but most were not there when I was there.
I did go to school with Congressman Dellums daughter and their foreign exchange student.
Piper was a nice person.
She was also the only African American student there and was well liked.
I don’t know much about the foreign exchange student other than they made a movie about that situation called the color of friendship, so that all I’m aware of.
Ross Vallory from the band Journey was a few years ahead of me, Will Forte was about 10 years after me.
Numerous athletes and science people came from the school too.

How about you?
So, you didn't actually "go to school" with any of these people, correct? Some "famous" person walking the same school hallways or sitting in the same chair years before or after you did doesn't count.

Well I did go to school with the 2 girls that had a movie made about them but other wise no nothing special here.
One of the girls I went to school with holds a bunch of biotech patents so that’s kinda cool too.
Famous people before and after I left.. The most famous.. Likely Chris Warren who had a 10 year career as a RB in the NFL.. He was a senior when I was a freshman. And WWE personalities Byron Saxton and Alex Riley who went well after I had graduated.

lol.. There were no minorities at my high school. Being in the DC suburbs.. it was truly a melting pot. If anything.. Asians were the majority.
Yes. For a few years, not in California, but somewhere else in this thread. A comedian who is self-deprecating and often does impressions and has been mentioned on CD at least once - she's done multiple specials and has ties to some very famous comedians. She, who was talkative, fairly nice, and weird then and apparently now, asked me out, and the joke was on her (If this were an anonymous post and I didn't have my privacy to guard, I'd name her. And I somewhat wish I could, for she's one of the better comedians that more people should know.)

Jeremy Lin was two years behind me. We didn’t share any classes that I can remember, and he was essentially invisible. I didn’t know he existed til he hit the NBA, unfortunately.
EDIT: I didn’t think of it this way, but I think you could slide this in here: LeVar Burton’s sister taught my sex Ed class.
