I'm rarely home to watch TV that time of day but once was......can't stand Oprah; but that's ok because she loves herself enough that it doesn't matter if anyone else loves her or not.
Ellen-I adore!

Oprah is self intoxicated, much like her political candidate of choice (I'll stop there) ... Ellen is much more down to earth and ... hello Oprah ... FUNNY! Her self deprication and wit is charming. Oprah can't see anything beyond Oprahworld ... can you imagine having to work with her? Yuck ... heaven forbid if you don't subscribe to her way of thinking.

I agree, i used to like Oprah, but she's to full of herself and i'm sick of her shoving she garbage down our throats, Ellen entertains me and is so funny.

I also like Trya Banks show as well..I liked Oprah back in the late 80s-early 90s when she was still down to earth somewhat. Now, I believe Oprah has run her course.

I prefer Ellen too. Her sense of humor is sweet and gentle and she pulls people out of themselves with it.
Oprah has just become too insulated I think. I used to like her shows about self empowerment for women. Now it just seems to be about all the nice things she can afford and how friendly she is with other famous people. I can't afford cashmere pyjamas and I don't really want to hear about how wonderful they are, or $200 t-shirts either.
