Saw that, thanks to Kathy Griffin, now I watch Paula Deen on the Food Network, she can be funny too.

It's the red hair and weird voice. She just grates on you and makes a lasting impression. I hated her character on "Seinfeld" and understood why Jerry disliked her so much.
She's in a category with Rita Rudner, Yakov Smirnov, Steve Harvey and Carrot Top. The "How in the heck did they become famous being so two dimensional and so ittitating" category.

do you mean you understood how the Jerry "character" disliked her??? Or Jerry Seinfeld?
If you meant the character.......well uh--that was a script
If you mean the real person--he and Kathy Griffin are in fact very good friends. he "gets" her humor. As do her fans

I "get" the humor but I don't enjoy it. There is something about her face and her voice that annoys me tremendously! She makes me feel like she is trying so hard to be "popular" but all the while she is somewhat mannish.

I don't think Kathy Griffin is funny at all. That grating, loud, irritating voice of hers doesn't help. Some "insult" comedy can be funny (Don Rickles and Jackie Gleason from years past come to mind). Kathy just isn't one of them IMO.

Kathy Griffin reminds me of Rosanne Barr. Not fun to listen to or look at.

I'm not a big fan of hers....but obviously a lot of people are since she makes God knows how much more money a year than I do. I guess humor is relevant.

She's funny because she is so outrageous, the audience literally does not know what she will do next. No topic or celebrity is off limits, and her stories are totally over the top. I know her humor appeals to the gay community, and I can see why (in a good way).
