I was kind of wondering what you meant by "...a little service."
After previously working for a City, and seeing the officers' salaries paid out of the state's General Fund, it adds up to more than just "a little service."
I wonder who determines the amount of police officers necessary to protect certain types of people?
"Now, if anyone is wondering why Elin needs so much security, it should be obvious: Tiger and his wife and his seemingly unending list of mistresses have been the talk of every tabloid, gossip magazine and sports website since Thanksgiving, and if Elin leaves the house, she will be dealing with the paparazzi.
That's just an indisputable fact; Elin knows it as much as anyone else, and taking extra precautions to make sure she doesn't put herself or her children in any harm because of overzealous reporters is a smart idea."
Reporters and paparazzi didn’t kill Princess Diana, but they certainly did contribute to the accident that took her life. Elin and the police are playing it smart. At first thought it may seem excessive, but when you consider everything involved it may be the right thing to do to get Elin and the children to the airport quickly without problems caused by the paparazzi. Again, the taxes the Woods have paid is more than enough to take care of the police service.
Not that I defend his actions (I'm not), but could you explain to me exactly how he 'put himself out there as someone he was not'? By doing Gatorade and Nike commercials? He is a professional golfer. That's all he put himself out there to be. I never saw him advertise himself as 'the family man' or 'worlds perfect husband' or anything like that.
My point is why is he any different from anyone else that has ever committed adultery? Why is it that because he was a 'celebrity' that it's automatically assumed he's living the 'perfect' life?
he did put himself out there as a family man. A person to worship cause he was all that and a piece of cake. The facade he created. No one asked him to.
When someone is sponsored and rely on us-the consumer to buy into the ads and purchase the product then they've put themselves into MY life.
He's a real piece of work. If he were single I wouldn't give a flying fig how many people he slept with. He created the monster and shamed himself and disgraced his wife and family. I hope she gets far away from this egotistical, narcissistic jerk with the quickness.
Absolutely. It's a personal problem between him and his wife and has now grown to these epic proportions.
The police may have thought it best to provide escort service to protect not only Elin and her children from the paparazzi chasing her, but also to protect anyone on the streets and highways between the Woods house and the airport. You know the police have a responsibility to serve and protect...

I don't feel sorry for her or him in the least, and I'm really glad I don't live in the county they live in!
