As I was shopping around for phones in June I noticed how Sprint had a lack of high end devices compared to their counterparts:Verizon, ATT/T-Mobile.

However, the last month has dropped some high end and great feature phones

Evo-3D
Motorola Photon
Motorola XPRT
BlackBerry 9930
BlackBerry Tourch 9850

And if you dont keep up with the cell biz, they also have, read it 2 more
Samsung Galaxy S II and the NEW Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G!! - Coming Sept 16, 2011

And maybe the iPhone5 so....who knows...

These will by far be the best phones for Sprint. All we need now is Sprint is that Iphone 5 and I'll be a life long customer!!

I've always found that Sprint was more willing to negotiate handset pricing than other carriers, at least over the phone and by way of corporate stores (not agents). It's not unheard of to walk into a Sprint store around here and get the latest and greatest for free as a new customer.

The SGSII is the same as the Epic Tough 4G, which is a ridiculous name IMO

There will also be an EPIC 2 which will be a GSII with the slide out qwerty keyboard. The Epic Touch is NOT the upgrade to the EPIC...

Plus Sprint also has the LG Optimus Black coming, and the Iphone 5 and 4S

Sprint has been rumored to be getting the iphone 5. It was reported in the Wall Street Journal, Apple had a job posting in KS where Sprint is headquartered, a contractor has been tasked with the job of installing Sprint repeaters around apple stores, and Best Buy told their people that they can expect to sell pre orders for the phone.

Best Buy Rumor of iPhone 5 Launch: October 1 or 21, Which Day to Bet on? - International Business Times

I am so excited. I like Sprint since their plans are a lot cheaper than the others.

I take it that means they canned the Samsung Galaxy S already? It's a damn decent phone, even if Android eats your battery alive.

Still don't see why people are hyped about the iPhone. Seems like Android does everything it does, and better.

Sprint's 4G network is absolute ****. It's going to be outclassed by Verizon's LTE in the next few years--seriously outclassed.

But, they are cheaper than everyone else, and the only place I've ever had a problem getting a signal is, ironically, in my home. I ended "forcing" Sprint to send us a femotocell to cover the house--for free. Normally I think they would charge $5 or $10 a month for it. I "threatened" to cancel our contract if they didn't resolve the problem of no signal, and basically told them to send a femotocell tower.

Those things are absolutely amazing too, I don't see why Sprint doesn't hand them out to people, why we had to go through the entire charade. It takes a load of their towers and makes me use my internet connection for talk.
