I live in Goose Creek and I usually just run the Northwoods Mall to shop. But I was thinking of making a trip to Tanger for some school clothes for my dd who will be starting middle school. I was wondering if I can find any good deals, do the really have outlet prices?

You can find some good deals not many stores geared for her age and Old Navy isn't an outlet store so you can get just as good deals at a regular Old Navy Store. I like The Gap outlet, but the store is always a mess and the lines are usually longer than other stores so it is frustrating.

We live in Ladson and do pretty much all our clothes shopping at Tanger. Now I don't have a middle schooler - it's just my husband, my 3 year old and I, so I can't speak specifically for that age group. But, I really despise shopping at Northwoods. The prices are definitely better at Tanger and it really depends when you go as to how crowded it is.

Tanger all the way! It's where we do all of our family clothes shopping. No comparison!

Thanks guys. I think I will head down there Friday morning and be there as soon as the open. I'll let you know if I find any good deals. I know I want to get up both some Sketchers flip flops.

Might want to wait for the sales tax holiday, or is that this weekend?

@SuzyQ--There is a Justice at the outlet mall. Apparently that's the store now for middle schoolers ( my older children had to tell me what a Justice store was).

The Gap Store has ranges in sizes from kids to adults. It is hit or miss. Of course, an Old Navy is at the outlet mall too.

The tax free weekend still scares me. When we lived in WV I went on that weekend and it was crazy. You would have thought it was black friday. I don't know if I am brave enough to try it in SC or not? My dd is so hard to shop for now. She has outgrown the kids stuff and most of the Jr stuff is very low cut and tight. She is going to have to wear tanktops under everything, and get a Large.
