I know that this development went defunct years back but is it ever going to make a comeback?

Does anyone have any updated information on what's going on there?

Pay attention for the next few months. You may just see some action happening soon.

I live right by there & rumor says yes it will get developed. I've also noticed that the Carolina park sales office now has cars parked in the parking lot unlike last year. I drive through there daily & many times I see maintenance being done there so stay tuned....

That's good to hear. We may just wait to build something new. We're tired of constantly doing repairs and updating.

The prices for new construction seem to be not that much more than the used, older houses on the market down there.

As long as they keep the prices in line with what buyers want (not half million dollar cookie-cutters), I think that development will take off like a sky rocket.

The cars are most likely the HS kids who don't have a parking pass. I will pass info when there is something to pass...nothing new yet.

Their sales center will be opening in October. Ryland and David Weekley are the two builders they're starting with. Ryland's models should be completed in the next few months.

They've been building in CP for weeks now. It'll be nearly the size of Park West.

I'm fairly certain Weiland has bought/secured numerous lot for building in Carolina Park as well. I think they're moving in after Hamlin's final phase in Waverly is done in the next 4-6 months.

Then again, Oyster Tract just got approved for annexation, so I'd keep an eye on that as well.
