In West Ashley: The Pour House

(charlestonpourhouse.com)....there is a restaurant in the other half of the bldg, both owned by same couple. Oddly it is a bit more upscale than the bar/music area. Very popular, wide variety of bands...

In North Charleston: The Sparrow

Dives always have the best music...

So many great places to listen to live music in Charleston, I do wish I was a tad younger and willing to throw a bunch of money at a cab or two each week. Not a big fan of drinking and driving.

Thats an easy one,,,,The SandDollar on Folly,,,,,Bikers go there,,but not he rowdy type.

Ita a good place, and gets some of the best bands on the east coast!

I've been to the Sanddollar on Folly. Bikers like to go there and there is usually a band playing, but it is definitely not a "biker bar" in like a motorcycle club way. There are usually all types of people inside and it's usually a good time.
