Park Circle and Old North Charleston is a really neat area. The downtown has some cool places. The location is great too. I like the historic homes and ares over the new subdivisons. The new homes are very nice but too close for my liking. The park is great with what it has to offer including the pool. It is definitely up and coming and eventuallty I think it will be one of the "hot spots" to be. It's got a decent amount of stuff going on.

Thanks beckycat for referencing my article! I'm a resident of Oak Terrace Preserve, one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Park Circle and a Realtor specializing in the area, so if anyone has any questions about Park Circle, just let me know!

This area interests me, but am concerned with it being so close to the paper mill. Any problems with this?

Park Circle is in the direct path of the smell given normal summer wind directions...and it is very close to the plant.

Correct me if Im wrong,,but most of the time the wind is from the south/west in the summer months.
The paper mill is NE of P/Circle.

Zoom out just a little.

You would be correct, mostly southwest winds in the spring/summer, which would mean it would move more towards DI, and up the river.
