Finally got moved from WV to Summerville, SC! We are so happy here. Needing help in locating some service recommendations and will appreciate your ongoing suggestions.

Veterinarian? We are in Pine Forest Country Club area and are wanting a convenient and excellent veterinarian. Does anyone have personal recommendations? I saw Westbury and checked them out on the web.

Any feedback for that clinic or others? We have dogs - Border Collie and Dachshunds.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

We have been taking our three dogs to Westbury Veterinary Clinic for the past 18 months, and we love them so far. Good prices, greats docs...vet techs are always very helpful too. They also have grooming services onsite (in a separate building) if you need that sort of thing.

They will also send email reminders (pretty common these days) and let you track prescriptions, appointments, previous checkups/records through an online portal - very convenient.

We lived in Pine Forest for several years and took our three dogs to Westbury. I must admit, they treated us with compassion when we had to have our 15 year old shih tzu put down...
It's nice to have your vet only minutes away. My son takes his four dogs there, my daughter her two dogs. None of us have had any complaints.

To make your choice even harder...although I have no personal experience with Central Ave Vets, I have heard very positive things about them. They are quite close to you also.

we moved to the area 3 yrs ago so I know the struggle in trying to find good services. We have been using Westbury since we moved here, and we love them!!! They were wonderful when our american bulldog passed away unexpectedly on a Friday night, called them in the morning and they gave us all the options about what to do next (we opted for cremation) , they are now wonderful with our new puppy, always easy to get an appointment with very quickly, and the staff are all great. Another good thing there is a WONDERFUL kennel right next door, highly recommend them if you ever need to board your pets

We had bad experiences with two Summerville vets. If you want to know the names, you can PM me.
Ever since then, we take our cat and dog to a vet in West Ashley that also has an office in North Charleston.
