The Charleston Marathon is this weekend and the word is they are in desperate need of course marshals (mainly course marshals but other opportunities are available).
There is a free dinner and information meeting tonight 1/14 for the volunteers.

Assist police officers with vehicular and participant traffic. Assist participants with medical issues and alerting medical officials. Keeping runners on course Cheering runners
