Are there any campgrounds in the area that rent cabins/cottages/trailers on a weekly basis? I know about KOA in Mt P but they don't offer a weekly rate.

Look up the Charleston County parks. I think I read that some of them have cabin rentals.

That KOA is really nice. I went up there to get my propane refilled once.

Thanks. I wonder if there are any privately owned campgrounds?

The KOA in Ladson has cabins too. We stayed there in our RV between moves in 2010 for a week or so and we were pleasantly surprised. It is close to everything too.
