they don't use "lean meats", they use hams cooked in giant wood pits over night... when they are pulled off of the pits in the morning the fat just wipes off of the top and then you can break off chunks and start chopping it for the sandwiches etc... A ham IS lean meat. LoL That is exactly what I meant by saying they use lean meat. Other than the loins the ham is the leanest part of the hog. Again this is only personal preference on my part...I just don't like hams by themselves as they tend to be dry and somewhat flavorless on their own.

it used to be the best BBQ within a few hundred miles of here IMHO, change of hands to the younger generation seems to have changed things... even the hamburgers aren't as good as they once were, they were voted best in America many a time years ago

I hope it's not going to be like when Sam died and his kids took over Walmart, the place has never been the same....
