Ya'll helped us a year ago to find a great home. Unfortunately the rental is done with because the homeowner forgot to pay their mortgage and the house is being foreclosed. We are moving out of Corey Woods and have come across a Windsor Hill home. How is the area and the elementary school? Any info would be great!

LOL

Seriously though ...

My wife and I have lived in Windsor Hill with our two sons for about 10 years now and I have to say that I really do love it here.

It's in Dorchester District 2 .. that alone is good, but I can tell you first hand that the schools (Windsor Hill Elementary here IN the subdivision, River Oaks Middle and Fort Dorchester High School) are all great. BOTH of our sons walked to and from Windsor Hill Elementary School when they were going to school there.

It's a great subdivision. We've never had a problem letting our sons walk alone a few blocks to go see their friends. People walk in the evening and at night too (ie not afraid to go out after dark).

Location is good too. Convenient to Rivers for shopping and restaurants as well as right between Summerville and downtown. Not to mention the convenience of the grocery store right at the entrance to the subdivision.

If there's any specific question I can answer for you please feel free to message me or post here in your thread.
