Yes, There are homes already being framed in the new Del Webb, there are also quite a few other communities you may be interested in. One is called Traditions, South Carolina, it will be a community with everything you could possibly want right inside the gates. There will be grocery, retail, restaurants, there will be a golf course, state of the art fitness center... and much more. There is also, Hampton Lake, it will focus on lake living instead of golf, you will be able to rent boats and cruise the 100+ acre man made lake. This place is very impressive. Del Webb also has a more luxury style neighbor hood called River Bend. It offers a 18 hole golf course, fitness, swimming and more. I can give you information on all of the communities in the area if you wish. Just let me know.

Island Town,
I am moving there and Daniel Island is one of my favs. We'll see when we come down next month. I have looked at so much about the island and I really hope it works out for me to get a home there. It looks AMAZING.

Default strict rules

Daniel's Island does LOOK amazing but it didn't get that way by accident. From what I understand they have very strict CC&R, which means that your trash can will have to be in a few minutes after the garbage truck empties it and you'll have to wait five years for approval if you want to change the color of your front door (ok maybe that's a little overboard, but you get my point). I'm sure many people find it to be a wonderful place to live, but I have talked with many people that found the rules to be too much for them and they came down to McClellanville for some good ol' country livin'
